Making that Dream

Hi again to the public,

I hope you all have had a stellar time since my last visit to the blog an update I suppose. It has been a while and I'm sorry about that, Robert got himself on the schedule of evil way too many days of work and not enough days of downtime to do everything he needs to do. Nonetheless the days here are pretty swell aside from the heat and certain people that have annoyed me to no end. Oh well I say let's look forward...or at least in a review.

This week I began and completed my training on games. I am now fully able to stand in a carnivalish game system and speak on a microphone to all the guests. I must say it is quite a moment, for one who doesn't do public appearances too often. It is quite helpful in that regard as well as fun especially when you get a full line of excited children to play Mammoth Marathon. My spiel is somewhat dull but it works and I can ad lib a bit if I so choose which isn't bad at all. I must admit the new aspect of my merchantainment, namely games, is great.

In other news I was granted an amazing chance to make the difference in someones day here at Disney World. While at games, specifically Mammoth Marathon my favorite one, there was a young man who wanted to play for and win the medium sized prize a Saber tooth plushy which was amazing looking. I want one as well. Anyway first he sat around just waiting for enough players to come by such that he could play for the Saber tooth, which took a good 15 minutes or so out of his trip. He then played for it and didn't get it. Later on his brother came by and played for it again, also not getting it. By then end of this the family had spent over an hour being around the games area at that one table. I looked around and felt compelled to do something to make this young man's day. So before walking out of the booth with the Saber tooth I scoped around for managers. After finding none I went in for the victory delivering the Saber tooth with all amazingness and silence. Later on the father of the young man played the game. He told me that it was the guy's birthday and that me giving him that Saber tooth made his day. Needless to say I was shocked and quite pleased to hear that. I thanked him and smiled big that made my day.

I have found that you have to take the good with the bad, and there is a lot of boosted energy from the good. My job is amazing though the hours are horrible but I love those great guests and my amazing cast members.

I hope you all enjoy your days, and I'll give a special message here. Happy Birthday to my Austin!!! You are great.
